People talking in a bar about life, people and relationships. I've seen this before.

I liked the way he guides the movie to present his ideas. Even Boris, who speaks directly with the public watching the movies, doesn't do that just because it's fun. He does that to explain a concept.

Well, I liked the way he shows that people change. Specially, the way a big city changes people and often broadens their mind.

He caused a nice shock when Melody's mother became an artist who lived with two men. But when her father uncovered his homossexuality I found it too exaggerated. That fact alone would be ok but, regarding that we had just had a nice shock with the mother, this second event was just cliche. It looked like Allen had been watching Almodovar - who is a nice director but often exceeds the point of good art.

It could seem that the relationship between Melody and Boris would be totally absurd. Well, it was not. Altough she had no inteligence at all, she had curiosity and respect. That was enough for him. Now he could freely talk about whatever he wanted and she would be interested and trying to learn something. Not only in a passive way, but also trying to infere new ideas and use the base he gave her to figure out new things. That's something amazing. Allen uses such an unintelligent person to show the importance of curiosity over knowledge and even inteligence.

Something good to see during an air plane trip, when you just wanna relax and avoid hard thinking. The thing about power and happiness in a relationship is quite good, indeed.

As many have said, great special effects. But little, very little, respect for reality. I suppose it is possible to make a (good) movie about the end of time based on actual physics laws. It's ok to cheat once or twice, but not to treat the viewer as a complete stupid.

A wish that history had been different, that the nazis were even less smart than they actually were... Well this is an action movie, so expect action and you'll get it. A good plot, but nothing deep (as it is supposed to be).

Maybe this shit could make me smile once or twice if I had a lobotomy and drank a bottle of vodka...

Normal guy. Normal family. Not exactly normal, but, ordinary relationship.

With the end of the relationship comes sadness - quite common. With sadness comes insanity. And now the story truly begins.

One can never know what will happen when mind gets out of control and acts like it had independent life.

Logic fails. Freak wishes arrive, but they don't really look like freak and we just follow them. Madness comes closer and closer, slowly. The brilliant actor Ingvar E. Sigurðsson shows us this dilatory progression. By the way, Ingvar was nominated for the European Film Awards for best acting.

At a certain point the family is no longer able to cope with the odd behavior.

Our leading character is sent to an asylum. There, where any hope is expected to be left out, human beings interact and true friendship rises.

And the movie goes on showing us that, if life isn't something easy to deal with, it can be much worse when you can't get your mind under control.

The soundtrack features the compositions of Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson as well as two songs by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós: Bíum bíum bambaló and Dánarfregnir og jarðarfarir. This last one fits perfectly at the ending climax. What is that? Here goes a hint: it is very much to the like of romantics :)

Simply the best Beethoven work I've ever heard. He was very far away from his time...

A LOT of original songs were composed this century. But it is really rare to see something GOOD. That's Sigur Rós.

Tracks 1 to 4 give a delightful sensation of being in a nice mood.

Tracks 5 to 8 bring you to the "dark side of the moon" (yeah, I also love pink floyd \o/). A relaxing melancholy comes in this part, mood gets dark as you look into yourself..
